A Hole-y Situation

The Sun is finally shinning, the birds are singing and the paint is drying faster. What a stunning day it is. The Eqyptian geese and their babies have been idling around the ponds and the lawn thoroughly enjoying the sun. I couldn’t manage to count the now 1 and a half month old babies but they looked fit and healthy.

While taking a walk around the garden I took note of how the ground has been affected by the horses cantering over last week. We will definitely be needing to think about how we’re going to handle the softer ground between the ponds as the hoof prints have gone into the ground quite deep and are a definite tripping hazard. Maybe we roll the lawn with one of those rollers they use when making roads?

Something to think about over the next few days…
